School is back in session and Brevard Zoo is ready to assist teachers at both the zoo and in the classroom. On September 1 the zoo will host an Open House from 5:30 - 8 p.m. More than 25 exhibitors will be on hand with lesson plans, classroom decor, and field trip suggestions. And, of course they will have wonderful 'freebies' ! Entertainment will include light refreshments, a beer tasting (!) provided by World of Beer, and Timmy Vee of WA1A will provide music. To register, please send an e-mail to edregistrar@brevardzoo.org. Include teacher's name, school, county, and email address. Deadline to register is August 31! Take advantage of this!
