Ten years ago today, we invaded Afghanistan - 26 days after the Sept 11 attack by terrorists. The 920th Rescue Wing, working out of Patrick Air Force Base, has established it's presence continuously beginning in November 2001. Deployment in Afghanistan lasts four months on a rotating basis for all members of the unit. This year alone, the 920th has saved 558 lives in Afghanistan. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen.
