Observed in the local Wal-Mart this morning: huge displays, center stage, of
fireworks. Not just sparklers, folks - the whole she-bang. I asked if the ban on private fireworks for July 4th had been lifted (the recent monsoons might have changed things...) and a floor supervisor replied, and I quote:
"The ban is on using them, not selling them." Wal-mart ethics at their finest.
