The Earl of Sandwich deserves the upmost respect for coming up with the idea for shoving everything but the kitchen sink between two slices of bread and calling it a meal. He also gave birth to a new vocabulary word:
sandwich, a verb. But my heartfelt thanks go out to those who have embellished on the idea- see above photo.
