A surfer known to this writer, (he refers to himself as my offspring) described the water as "a washing machine set on heavy-duty" when asked how the waves were this day. The surf forecast is still "not for the timid". Take caution. Rip tides are definitely ripping. Undertows are pulling under and riding the waves feels like you're the ball in a pinball machine.
