| Seen Sunday morning by PAFB (just south of second light) - mammoth flock of pelicans! They hung out for hours, going back and forth between the water's edge and the water. Small digital camera lens couldn't fit them all in. Gulls arrived after sunrise - maybe to see what was going on? Or supervise? |

| As the rose rose in the sky, the pelican crowds stayed the same but were joined by a huge flock of gulls. Most amusing part was how each stayed in their own lines! I estimated over 300 pelicans - just hanging out! After 3 hours, I left, and they were still lined up! Great sight - worth getting up for! |
