Bicycle safety for kids
School will soon be out and kids will be hitting the streets with their bikes. Make sure your child is ready by attending the annual Satellite Beach Police Department Safety Day.10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Sat., May 14, 2011, kids ages: 5-10 are welcome. The SB Police Dept will help kids run through a bike safety course, get fingerprinted, learn correct fitting of helmets and Stranger Danger. Bring your own bike and helmet if you want! Satellite Beach residents can register their bikes too. Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase from the PAL organization. The program is free, but you need to pre-register with Lori at the SB Police Dept., 773-4400 ext. 145. Parents must stay with their child.
