On
Sunday, May 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Brevard Zoo will hold an
Ice Cream Social fundraiser. The event will be held in the Nyami Nyami River Lodge with the spacious, shaded deck overlooking the savanna that is home to the zoo's giraffes. (And the new baby is out on display!) The Zoo will showcase several local ice cream vendors including
Alpine Yogurt Cafe,
Cold Fusion Iced Cream,
Ben & Jerry's,
Ice Cream Junction,
Steve's Frozen Chillers,
Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and
Twisty Cone Palm Bay. The event will also include live music, crafts and games for the kids, and special animal encounters. Cost to attend is just $5 plus the price of regular Zoo admission. Special discounts on admission are available, as always, for those who enjoy a
