For those who don't know the origin of
Flag Day - listen up. The only
PROPER method of disposing of an American flag is to burn it -
BUT, that's un-American so the deal is this: When your flag becomes old and tattered, bring it to an American Legion Post. They will store it for the
ONE DAY of the year when they are permitted to burn it - you guessed it,
Flag Day.
