Celestial feelings
The only thing that could top Saturday night's full moon rising out of the sea was Sunday morning at sunrise. Standing on the dune crossover by second light, to the west was the pink moon, still as big and bright as the night before, and then to the east was the orange sun, rising out of the sea through a mixture of pink and lavender clouds. The higher the sun got, the less vibrant the moon was. Like a tennis match, it was hard to decide which way to look because it changed by the second. Incredible. One can only hope some of the folks seen with the costly, sophisticated cameras will share online... The PAFB area (Hangars-OC-#2light)was as crowded as it ever has been for any shuttle launch.
