Reflecting

While watching the news about Japan, I have experienced a myriad of emotions: shock, sadness, compassion, and helplessness among others. And I don't think I'm alone in thinking that we on the Space Coast are just as vulnerable, should a tsunami come this way. The people in Japan had four hours - what could you do in four hours? My thoughts - prepare like you would if a Cat 5 were coming and then stop. No-one wants to live in fear. Nor should we. Prep, know you are ready to go, and then concentrate on making each day worthwhile. Call those people you've been meaning to, take time for a walk, and make sure those you love know it. You never know; just ask Japan.
