Samson's Island will host an Open House from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - Saturday, Mar 19, 2011. Explore the island's trails where one can see abundant wildlife and stay for a light picnic lunch. Demonstrations will be on-going, and visitors can view or participate in river seining, exotic and native plant identification, primitive camping, wildlife exhibits, and bird watching programs. Visitors are welcome to bring their fishing pole, binoculars for bird watching and camera for nature photography.
