Free for all at KSC

The week-end of Sept 10 - 11, Space Coast residents will be able
to visit Kennedy Space Center [KSC] at a greatly-reduced cost: a
can of food. This marks the 10th year that KSC has offered a free
week-end to Brevard County residents to thank the community for
their support. Free admission includes the KSC tour, Shuttle Launch
Experience, 3D Imax movie, the Star Trek Live show, Astonaut
Encounter and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Plan to bring a driver's license or utility bill and I.D., plus a
canned or non-perishable food item. Food goes to the Sharing Center
after the week-end. And don't forget the camera! This is the last
time some of what is there can be seen, due to the end of the
shuttle program. Support KSC, the workers who are getting pink
slips for Christmas, and thank everyone you see for the amazing
launches that have wowed us over the years.
