The planners expected 30,000 people. Half a million showed up. It
was supposed to last three days, goin all day until late evening.
It went four days, 24 hours a day.
Those musicians who chose to play would later claim it the most
powerful moment of their careers. The vibe can never be recaptured.
But this show just might stir up some memories for all of us!
